How to Get an Apple ID for FaceTime
FaceTime is a video chat program for Mac computers and other Apple products, such as iPhones and iPads. In addition to standard definition video capability, FaceTime allows users to chat in high-definition on devices that support HD video. Because FaceTime is an Apple product, you must have an Apple ID to use it. If you do not have an Apple ID from iTunes, iChat or other Apple software, you must create one on the My Apple ID website.
