How to Get Rid of the Hidden Items on Facebook
One of the disadvantages of Facebook is that your homepage news feed can soon fill with unwanted posts and activity updates from applications, events and contacts who you don't know well. Some users clean up their news feeds by hiding updates from other users and Facebook applications. If you want to remove the hidden items on Facebook and restore this content to your news feed, use the "unhide" feature on your homepage.

Log into Facebook. By default, Facebook opens on your homepage with the news feed in the center of the page.

Click the blue "Most Recent" link above the news feed. Click the blue arrow icon that appears beside "Most Recent."

Select "Edit Options" from the context menu. This opens Edit Your News Feed Options dialog box.

View the items that you've previously hidden in the "Hide Posts From" pane. This contains a list of all users, applications and pages that you've chosen to hide in your news feed.

Hover your mouse over the "x" icon beside the name of the item that you want to remove from the hidden list. Click the icon when the "Remove" button appears.

Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the dialog box. This removes the item from the hidden list and restores it to your news feed.

Tips & Warnings
Hide items again by clicking the "x" icon beside a post or activity update and selecting the "Hide All" options from the context menu.
