How to Make Curved Text in GIMPshop
GIMPshop is a modified version of the open-source GIMP image editing software. GIMPshop is designed with a similar interface and terminology as Adobe Photoshop. Users can create curved text in GIMPshop using the "Create and Edit Paths" tool.

Click "File" in the left window pane. In the drop down menu, select "New" to create a new image. Choose the desired size in the preset drop down box, such as 640 by 480.

Select the "Create and Edit Paths" tool located in the left window pane.

Place the mouse pointer in the image box. Left-click and drag the path tool along the desired path.

Open the "Text Tool" located in the left window pane to open the text dialog box.

Type the words or numbers desired in the text box.

Click on "text along path" in the "Tools options". The text should appear in a red outline along the path created.

Go to the path dialog box located in the right window pane and right click the text path and select "Path to Selection".

Click the eye icon in the path dialog box, located on the left to remove text coloring.
