Instructions

    • 1

Lay the sweater down flat. Take a large piece of tape and wrap it around your hand, sticky side away. Press your "taped" hand on the sweater and then pull it off to remove the loose lint balls. Repeat this all over the sweater. You may need to apply fresh tape to your hand before you're done.

    • 2

Roll a pumice stone gently over the sweater. The stone should remove most if not all of the lint balls.

    • 3

Hold a single-blade razor at an angle to the material and lightly glide the blade across the material, shaving off lint balls.

    • 4

Use tweezers or your hand to remove any remaining lint balls. Tweezers seem to work better because you don't lift off as much material as when using your hand.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can find a pumice stone at all major discount stores in the foot product aisle.

  • Be very careful with a pumice stone, as it can tear holes in the sweater.

The pumice stone worked brilliantly! Thank you :) I'd suggest a second time with the tape, after the stone. Also, I used one of those pet-hair rolls instead of tape, so that's a comfortable solution, as well.
