Street View is one of the most popular features of Google Maps. This free service allows users to visualize travel directions by using a combination of a traditional map and photographs of selected points on the map.

    What is Google Street View?

  1. Google Street View is a service that gives users a visual reference of a map location. It is a collection of photographs that create a 360° panoramic view of any given point on the map.
  2. When Was It Created?

  3. Google Street View was launched in the United States on May 25, 2007. On July 2, 2008, it expanded into parts of Europe, starting with Italy and France.
