Cabbage Soup Diet

The cabbage soup diet consists of nothing but cabbage soup and water. Cabbage soup detoxification dieters are prompted to consume 6 cups of cabbage soup per day. The duration of the cabbage soup diet is seven days, but can be followed for as much as 14 days. The typical weight loss throughout the duration of the cabbage soup diet is 7 to 8 lbs. within seven days. Common side effects of the diet are diarrhea and heavy gas.

However, the diet recently caught attention from the media when American starlet Beyonce Knowles embarked on the diet to lose weight for a film role. The lemonade diet consists of nothing but a lemonade concoction. The lemonade concoction is created using cayenne pepper, lemons, maple syrup and water. The lemonade diet lasts for a 10-day time period. Lemonade dieters typically lose 20 lbs. in 10 days, which brings the average weight loss to 2 lbs. per day.
Raw Food Diet

The raw food diet consists of nothing but raw foods. While the raw food diet is considered a detoxification diet, many dieters choose to develop the diet into a lifelong lifestyle. There is no specified period of time for the raw food detoxification diet to be followed; the diet can be followed for as long as you please. The typical weight loss throughout the first month is approximately 20 lbs. The amount of weight lost is directly dependent upon your daily caloric intake.
Hollywood Diet

The Hollywood Diet consists of nothing but the "Hollywood Diet Juice" and water. The diet plan is to be followed for two days and promises a weight loss of up to 10 lbs. in two days. However, most dieters report losing approximately 3 to 5 lbs. and gaining back the majority of the weight lost. The only benefit of this detoxification diet is that it gives your digestive system a much needed break because it does not have to process foods. If your main goal is fast weight loss, stay away from the Hollywood Diet.
