Glitter is a fun way to add sparkle to projects.

Glitter glue is perfect for adding a fun flare to arts and crafts like homemade greeting cards and scrapbooks, but if that glue gets too dried out it can actually ruin what you're working on. Fortunately, there is a way to thin your glitter glue and ensure that it doesn't clump up on your crafts.

Step 1

Remove the lid from your glitter glue. If the lid is not removable then use a toothpick to widen the hole.

Step 2

Fill a dropper with water.

Step 3

Slowly add drops of water to your glitter glue. The number of drops you should use will depend on how thick your glue has gotten. If it is very thick, 10 drops should suffice.

Step 4

Replace the lid, or put your finger over the hole, and shake vigorously.

Step 5

Squirt the glue out and see if it is a good consistency. If it is still to thick, add a few more drops of water.

Tip

If you add too much water, allow the glitter glue to sit out without the cap on and it will thicken back up.
