Things You'll Need

  • Candy wrapper

  • Paper towel

  • Cookie sheet

  • Toaster oven

  • Spatula

Turn candy wrappers into accessories or dollhouse decorations by putting them in a toaster oven. The heat shrinks the wrappers to a miniature size and makes them a hard plastic. Punch a hole in the top of the wrappers before shrinking to insert a jump ring and add to an earring or necklace. Shrinking candy wrappers is a project that will entertain children or teenagers for an afternoon of creating.
