Static buildup in the home can be quite evident and irritating above all else as it finds its way onto clothing, upholstery and electronics. Removing static electricity from your television is a simple task that is practically effortless. There are several simple proven methods to help make your television static-free.
Step 1
Rub a fabric softener sheet over the screen to eliminate the static buildup. Keep the dryer sheet handy just in case it occurs again.

Apply liquid fabric softener to a clean cloth and wipe the screen with it to eliminate the static.
Step 3
Place an air humidifier in the room to help cut back on the static in the air that can effect the television.

Rub a magnet across the television to get rid of the static.
Tip
Bringing your head into close contact with a television boasting static electricity will result in a severe bad hair day.
