Sending a picture from your computer to a cell phone has never been easier. This feature is great for those of us who upload favorite pictures to our computers, and wish to share them with friends and family. There are a number of websites that offer this service for free. One such site is www.pixdrop.com, where it takes three simple steps to send a picture from your computer.

Sending Picture to Cell Phone from Your Computer

Enter www.pixdrop.com into the address bar on your browser. This will direct you to their site, where you enter information to send your picture. There will be three questions to answer. The first one asks what cell phone provider the recipient has. This particular site can only send pics to AT&T, Verizon Wireless or Sprint. If you don't know what provider she has, call or send a text asking who her provider is.

After you click on the appropriate provider, enter the recipient's cell phone number, including area code. Use dashes if you wish, though the picture will still send even if you leave out the dashes. Double check to make sure you have entered the correct number.

Click on the "Browse" button to choose the picture you wish to send. This will open up your "My Documents" folder, where you will need to navigate to find your "My Pictures" folder, or wherever you have your picture stored. Click on the picture you wish to send and hit the "Open" button. This will close the browse box and add the picture to the site, ready to send. Click on "Send Your Picture Message" and wait for confirmation.
