You've just gotten your sparkling new business cards, and you don't know what to do with that box of old ones. Fear not! There are a variety of creative ways to get more mileage out of them.
Use Them as Note Cards
Use the back of the cards as note cards. They fit easily into your pocket, and can be placed in small stacks wherever you need them. For example, you can stack them next to your bed for any middle-of-the-night inspirations or near the telephone for writing messages.
Create a little mini-file cabinet for your new note cards. A simple shoe box will work just fine. Or, find an empty drawer somewhere. For your dividers, use index cards, and write the section headings at the top. Or, if you have an empty rotating desktop file hanging around, this will work even better than a shoe box, and it comes with dividers.
Another option for your old business cards is to recycle them. Be sure to shred them before putting them in your recycle bin.
