Where to Put the Jack Under a Chevrolet Impala

Your 2013 Impala has a set of specific lifting points that you must use when jacking the car to safely work on it and prevent damage. Knowing how to safely lift your Impala will provide you with your first step for anything from changing a tire to repairing the brakes.

Lifting Point Identification

Whether you a lifting the car with a hoist or a jack, the contact points are the same. The body pinch welds are located under the lower door plates and run the length of the car. There are four notches in the pinch weld, two to the rear of the front wheel wells and two in front of the rear wheels. Place bumper or floor jacks at these points.
