Not everyone grows up learning how to cope with anger in a healthy manner. Anger can be useful when channeled into constructive action. Control it, or it will control you. Anger management is a skill and one you need to learn if you have trouble with your temper. Anger management classes are held in every major city. Seek out treatment. Learn to use your anger to solve problems or learn to walk away. Anger isn't a bad thing in itself, but problems can and do occur when it's not dealt with properly.

    1. When you feel the emotions building up, take a time out. Researchers suggest taking at least 20 minutes. This will defuse your anger. Take deep breaths. Count to 10.
