How to Sew Zigzag Patterns

The zigzag pattern is made up of repeating small corners, arranged in acute angles. The angles function between two parallel lines and form a regular pattern that is used often in sewing and stitching. In sewing, a zigzag stitch is obtained using a sewing machine, and gives the impression that the design has been embroidered. Tightly spaced zigzag stitches can be used on satin stitches and are most frequently used for button holes.
