Doug Jenkins Doug, of “Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods”, not only servers the entire nation, but even customers outside the U.S have found the shop's services indispensable. <BR /><BR />Doug got his start in fixing, customizing, racing, selling, and restoring when very young. His grandpa put two 6x8 garden sheds in the backyard of the apartment when Doug was in 4th grade and he went to work fixing bicycles for anyone who would pay. By sixth grade Doug had bought non-running motorcycles and fixed them.<BR /><BR />He bought his first junker by 14, selling it for a profit after fixing it; 20 more by the time he graduated from high school, and lots more to pay his and his wife’s way through college.<BR /><BR />After commercial fishing, working the oilfields, farming, wood working, logging, and running a sawmill, his lovely wife was right again, and talked him into going into the customer car business in earnest.<BR /><BR />Doug and Kerry worked through the fall, after the logging season, to build a shop attached to their home.dkdk
