Victorian style homes were built in the late 1800's. Predominately made of wood they are highly decorative and focus much on the detail of their design. Many of these homes were painted white, not because white was a desired color but because during the recession of the economy at that time colored paint was very expensive and hard to come by. Restoring one of these homes is usually no easy task. Many times the beauty of the house is hidden beneath layers of paint, carpeting or even above the ceiling. So before you count these great houses out take a bit of time and look at the possibilities in front of you.
In this great video clip series our expert will explain everything she did to restore her 100 year old Victorian home as well as give you pointers and tips on how to do a lot of the tasks yourself and even how to decorate it.
