From the time of cavemen drawing has been not only a way of communication but also a form of expression. It wasn't until paper became readily available in Europe in the 1400's that the masters of drawing such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michaelangelo set the standard for great artists. Since that time not only have many more people become masters but the forms with which we draw have changed and evolved as well. New canvases such as computers and software have opened a whole new realm of art that was not available even 30 years ago. The way we look at art has even changed and evolved.
