Hi, this is Christine with Hammer Time Fitness, and we're going to demonstrate some exercises to tone without building muscle mass using a resistance band. So, I have Renee here to help me demonstrate some of the exercises. I'm going to hand Renee her resistance band. She's going to hold onto the handle. Now, with the band down on the ground, she's going to step on the resistance band. The closer you step to the handle, the harder it's going to be. So, she's got a good, come back, there you go, excellent, okay, the first exercise she's going to do, now this is going to tone you without building muscle. She's going to do a bicep curl, just your standard bicep curl, perform her bicep curl, excellent. She's going to take it back behind her back and she's going to push out over her head. Now, this one works her triceps, excellent, working her triceps, perfect. She's going to come back down. This time she's going to take the band with both hands and she's going to pull it straight up to her chest, upright row. This one is working her shoulders. So, she's worked her bicep, tricep and now she's working her shoulders, toning everything up without building any muscle here. Now, she's going to change hands. She's going to put the hand in her left hand, same position with her foot, she's going to take her hand out to the side and she's going to lift it up and down, excellent, another exercise working her shoulder muscle, absolutely perfect, excellent. Alright, this has been Christine with Hammer Time Fitness, showing you some exercises to tone without building muscle using a resistance band.
