Hi, my name is Tanya, and I'm an instructor at Gold's Gym. Power yoga classes, they're really all the rage lately. Not only do you do powerful strong, strong yoga they actually turn the heat up. So you get the heat going. You get a sweat going. It's pretty amazing stuff and powerful. Alright, so I'm going to start here. Power yoga is not for the slow, I mean you've got to be really strong here. Abs in, inhale, reach up, exhale, forward fold. Then you want to slide half way up. Then you want to fold into the legs once more, hands to the floor, step or jump but I bet you're going to be jumping if you're in a power yoga class. I'm here, abs are in. You want to lower down and do not drop to the floor. Rise up to your Up Dog, tuck your toes under, Down Dog, super jump your feet up and then come on up but into a Lightning Bolt Pose or Chair Pose, feel the thighs burning, pretty amazing stuff. Forward fold here, sliding up halfway. You're getting that amazing stretch going on. Fold, hands to the floor, step or jump which I'm jumping, Side Plank. So you're just doing a lot of unbelievable powerful poses for yoga. Hands back down, drop and hover, Up Dog, tuck does, Down Dog. Bend your knees, bring one leg in front and then rise up, Extended Forward Lunge. Let the hands find the floor, step it back to Down Dog. Same idea, you want to bring the other leg up, reach both arms up, drop, feels so good, let the hands find the floor again, step back to Down Dog, bend the knees, jump your feet to the hands, rise on up and lower down. But it's power, power, power. You just don't stop. It's hot but it really is an amazing experience. Get out there and try it.
