Hi, my name is Tanya, and I'm an Instructor at Gold's Gym. I want to show a few exercises you can do with the resistance band that's really for beginners. I got three great ones that is perfect for beginners, but it's going to make a difference in all your muscle term. These things are pretty great; you can get them anywhere. You can take your feet; I like, this is just the best way; if you're a beginner, this is it. Feet, I want you to take them and actually bicep curl. Say, "Hey, that's not a whole of resistance". So, I'm actually going to spread my legs a little wider; I'm going to add some resistance. All I'm doing, my elbows are enclosed; it is a simple bicep curl. That's all I'm doing. Okay, so that's really working out biceps, it's pretty awesome. So, I'm just bringing my hands right up to my shoulders; fantastic. Another one, taking my legs a little wider, knee a lot wider, doing this upright row. That's amazing for the shoulders, the trapezius muscles. My elbows are going straight up; so, I can see my elbows at the corner of my eyes. I just don't want you to row, reach way back when you can't see your elbows. Lift and lower. Whew! Okay, the next one; God, that feels good for the shoulders. I'm going to take my feet together because I'm going to do a shoulder press. So, we've got the band, take it up right here in front of your shoulders. Palms face knee, perfect; press. That's an amazing exercise. You could take this band anywhere. Exhale as you press up, "Hmmm", "Hhhhh"; feeling the shoulders. Man that's amazing. I'm feeling the back of the arms too. Whew! So, that's good stuff. You got the bicep curl, upright row, shoulder press. Oh and that's even fun; thigh, "Hahh", "Hahh". Do that for a minute; something's going to start to burn right at the shoulders. Good stuff. Resistance band, take them anywhere and they're amazing.
