This is Luke from Leaf Wellness Center in Santa Monica, California. Today, we are going to be talking about core training that protects the lower back. Instead of sit-ups and crunches that can harm the lower back, we are going to pick two spiceability exercises that work the whole core and keep your low back safe. The first one is the plank. To do a plank, you'll be on your toes and your forearms, and you are going to keep your back in a flat position. You want to make sure that your lower back doesn't collapse like this. So, you really want to focus on keeping the entire body straight. The next exercise is a side plank. It's a variation of the plank, but it works your obliques and entire core as well. You want to focus on the top foot being in front of the bottom foot. The top arm grabbing the opposite shoulder and stabilizing it. And keeping a straight line between your head down to your toes. I'm Luke, and that's core training to protect the lower back.
