Hi, I'm Amy Newman, Fitness Expert for Gold's Gym and Creator of the Perfect 10 Workout. And I'm going to show you how to do some Yoga poses for migraines. If you have a migraine headache, there are some Yoga poses that you can do to relieve that. Sitting in easy pose first of all, get your hands laying on thighs which your, with your palms up. You want to get your index finger and your thumb together, then your next finger also. Put the next finger into the palm of your hand with your pinkies out. Pull up the back of your head, chin is down; opening up all the areas of your body, breath deep into your body. "Hmmm", relax your mind, relax your neck and shoulders. That's where a lot of the tension is coming from. Release, relax. You want to hold that for about six minutes. Another thing that you can do is practice eye exercises by circling your eyes around as wide a range as you can, nice and slow and then going in the other direction. Breathing deeply. Then, rubbing your hands together, blowing in them and putting them over your eyes. Breath into your body and relax. "Hmmm", "Hahhhh". Release your arms, bring your head to one side, bringing one hand on the outside of your ear, feel your neck open up; stretch out the other arm to the side and breath into your body. Breath into your body, relax your shoulders, relax your neck, relax your mind. Feel the power going through the fingertips. Breath light into your body, "Hhhhh"; release pain. "Hmmm", inhale lift up, stretch your spine up, switch hands to the other side. Don't hold your breath, with each breath, try to relax your shoulder more and more, "Hmmm", feel your neck open, breath into your body and release that pain; "Hhhhhh". "Hmmm", release your head and lift your head up, chin down, relax your arms on your lap, palms up. I'm Amy Newman, Fitness Instructor for Golds Gym/Creator of the Perfect 10 Workout and those are some exercises that you can do in Yoga for migraines.
