Hi, I'm Charlotte Lawson, a registered and licensed dietitian. Now a little bit of information on where or what foods vitamin E is found in. Typically we are going to be looking at our nuts and seeds as well as some of the green leafy vegetables. But also as these foods are naturally occurring in vitamin E we have a lot of foods that have been fortified or with vitamin E added to them. So if you are looking for some snacks for instance, that are high in vitamin E try making up your own trail mix. Including maybe some cold cereal. It could be any kind. Corn Flakes or like a Cherrios type thing, incorporating maybe some nuts. It doesn't really matter what types of nuts and even seeds. Try pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. This is going to be a vitamin E packed snack. And not only does vitamin E help with certain just metabolic functions as well as skin health but also has a lot of great antioxidant functions as well. Now as I mentioned the nuts and seeds are an excellent source as well as vegetable oils as vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin. Those are just a couple of ways and a couple of areas you can get that vitamin E into your diet. I'm Charlotte and eat happy.
