Hi, I'm Ashley Fandino with Kathryn's Garden, and today we're going to talk to you about how to prepare rose hips for making tea. Once our rose hips are completely dehydrated, what we're going to want to do is crush them up. And to show you a neat little trick, what you can do is take the head of your blender and place it directly on to your jar. Like so. We'll simply turn our jar upside down and put it on the blender and blend. Now that we've crushed our rose hips, we're going to want to sift out the tiny little particles so that your tea doesn't taste like hair. Kind of have to be a little careful so you don't make a mess here. So, what you're going to do is pour your rose hips through a sieve and just sift out all the bad. Now that we're sifted out rose hips, we can place our prepared rose hips back into a jar and you can put them in a refrigerator for storage for up to a year. This has been Ashley Fandino with Kathryn's Garden, and this is how to prepare rose hips for making tea.
