Hi, I'm Brandi Allen, and I'm here with Amelia Louise at the Shiva's Centre in Sugarhouse, Utah and I'll be talking to you about positive benefits of Yoga on children. There's many things that children benefits from doing Yoga. There, it's a great form of exercise. It increase their ability to focus. It's non-competitive form of activity which children need a lot of activities these days, so it's a great way for them to get some activity. There's a connection between their body and their breath and their mind as they do Yoga practice; so that helps them, you know, do better in school, it calms their mind, it relieve stress because they're so, you know, a lot of stress going on now for children. So, this is a great way for them to lower their stress levels and to become better focused in things that they do. So, another benefit of Yoga is that when they work with the breath, this a great way for them to increase their lung capacity which also helps them in other sports they might play and teaches them to work with their breath in a, a way that's more beneficial for them. And again, I am Brandi Allen with Shiva's Centre and we just talked about the benefits of Yoga on children.
