Hi, I'm Deserie with HerbalWise, here to talk with you today about the effects of aromatherapy scents. Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for healing and essential oils are highly concentrated liquids obtained from plants. Different examples of the benefits and effects that essential oils can have include things like the calming effect of lavender. This can be applied in a massage oil, just through a spray or through a diffuser. Another example is that of citrus which is considered very uplifting. You can use grapefruit essential oil, lemon essential oil to uplift your mood. Another example for the effects of aromatherapy of the scent is rosemary. The smell of rosemary increases mental alertness. Eucalyptus can be used, the scent can be used for clearing bronchial passages and also for pain. And lastly, peppermint is also very effective for stimulating the senses, uplifting the mood and can also be used for pain.
