Hi, I'm Amy Newman, fitness expert, creator of The Perfect 10 Workout, and I'm going to show you some ab workouts without any crunches at all. Let's roll down onto the floor. Stretch our arms out by our sides, bring your knees in and lift your legs up. Lower the legs down slowly, exhaling. Round out your lower back, don't let it arch. And when it feels like you want to arch, you want to open up and do a big circle and bring your legs back over your head inhale. Exhale, lowering down, inhale open up. Exhale as you lower down, pressing your lower back into the mat. Inhale as you open wide. And exhale as you lower down. Now go in the opposite direction. Lifting your legs up. Inhale as you open wide, bring them back around pressing that lower back down as you lift up. Inhale, exhale relax your shoulders. Relax your face. Put all the energy into your lower abdominals. Exhale, squeezing them tightly inhaling open them up. Also, if you want to work a little bit on the obliques, stretch your arms out to the sides and bring your legs over to one side to where you feel comfortable and your shoulders are still on the floor. Exhaling, take in a deep breath, exhale lift your legs back up. And then, slowly lower them over to the other side, looking to the opposite shoulder. Exhaling, and then lift up, inhale. Then, exhale to the other side, look to the opposite arm. Inhale, exhale lift. Inhale up, exhale lower down to the other side. Inhale, exhale lift. And that's how you can do abdominal workouts without any crunches.
