Hi, I'm Charlotte Lawson, a registered and licensed dietitian here in Tampa Bay, Florida. If you're looking to diet in incorporating acai berry, this could be an excellent step for you in a weight loss program. The acai berry packs a great amount of health benefits. First and foremost, it's antioxidants. Antioxidants help to remove free radicals from our body and free radicals have actually been seen to increase our risk for chronic health diseases and conditions that obviously we do not want. The acai berry also contains a good amount of fiber. Now, fiber has been proven for overall weight loss in the fact that it keeps us full longer, that feeling of fullness helps us to moderate our calories and actually choose more healthy foods because of where fiber comes from.
