Hi, my name is Roman Lomtadze. I play drums for a band called Send the Sages, here in Los Angeles, California, and today I'm going to show you how to adjust a bass drum pedal. The main part for a bass drum pedal for how it actually works is this spring and this part. So, the basic idea is if you loosen it up and the spring is loose, the pedal goes more, I would say faster, easier, but some people actually might like it very tight, which it's kind of hard to press it, but for some people, it might be more comfortable than that. So it's up to, you how, what's the most comfortable way for you guys. What I personally like is, like I said, when this spring is super loose, so you could, oh, this is too much. The way I play a bass drum pedal is when the spring is very loose, and for me it is very comfortable, so it is very easy for me to play it, other than having it really tight, and then, then it's kind of hard to play it. So, to get different feels to basic two parts, to get different feels from playing a bass drum pedal, we have this spring and length of beater, and this is the main idea of how to change different feels for a bass drum pedal. My name is Roman Lomtadze, and this is how I adjust my bass drum pedal.
