Hi, I'm Kelly Machbitz, certified image consultant and beauty expert, and today I'm going to tell you, how to find the right shade of hair color for your skin tone. So, most hairdressers and beauty experts will tell you, nature knows best. And what you're born with, is probably the best shade for your skin tone. But sometimes you might want to change it or lighten it or darken it a little bit. So, I'm going to show you, how to get the right shade of hair for your skin tone. So, Danielle here, has a warm skin tone and she has a nice, warm, golden blond hair color, which matches her nicely. But if she wanted to go with something darker, she would want to pick something in the warm skin tone. And as you can see the samples of the different hair swatches, I have here. This side is cool and this side is warm, and you can see these look much better on her skin tone than the cool shades. And your hairdresser can help you with that. So, let's say, she wanted to do something a little darker. You can also find these great clip-in bangs or hair pieces to give a different look. So, for instance, what if she wanted to go red. That looks a little bit different with her skin tone, because it's more of a cool red. So, I would suggest a warmer shade of red. And then, here is another option. This is a brunette, but once again, I think it's a little bit too cool for her coloring. So, I would suggest, you check with your hairdresser, to get the right shade for you. And maybe, only go one or two shades off, of your natural coloring. So, there you have it, that's how you find the right shade in hair color for you skin tone. I'm Kelly Machbitz, certified image consultant and beauty expert.
