Hi, this is Joe Wang, head coach and founder of South Bay Youth Sports. Today, we're going to cover youth football athletic training. The next drill we're going to cover is the broad jump. For the broad jump, we're going to need cones and a field. The broad jump will help the athlete to gain power and balance. The proper way to do a broad jump is bend your knees, hips down. This is a typical standing long jump as you would do in school. Make sure your arms are using the strength, forward, back, and use the explosiveness to jump, and when you stick the landing, both feet needs to land. Now, we'll have a proper demonstration from our athlete to do the long jump. Swing his arms and stick your landing, bam, he sticks his landing, nice job. Again, this is Joe Wang with South Bay Youth Sports. Thank you for watching football athletic training.
