Hi, this is John Galipault, Worthington, Ohio Lacrosse, and I'm here to talk about lacrosse balls. Lacrosse balls are physically all the same, the hardness, the size, the weight even though they show in different color. White is used for men's lacrosse, yellow is for women's lacrosse. And orange is used for when weather conditions need a different color. Orange comes out a little bit better in snow. The weight of the ball is about two and a half ounces. They are just as hard as a hockey puck or baseball, but just smaller then a tennis ball. You want to look for a label on the ball that says NCAA or NFHS approved to make sure that the ball is legal. The price can range from $1.00 to $2.50 a ball. The more you buy, the cheaper each one is. They can be purchased individually, in six packages of six, a dozen, or a box of 120. This has been John Galipault from Worthngton, Ohio, and this has been the balls that you use for lacrosse.
