Hi, I'm Kelly Machbitz, Certified Image Consultant and Beauty Expert and today, I'm going to show you how to apply makeup for warm skin tones. So, my model here Danielle has a very warm complexion. We can see that in her skin and hair colors. We started out with an all over warm powder foundation. It just evens out her skin tone. We applied that with a sponge just to give her a nice all over smooth look. And for warm skin tones, you want to stick with warm cheek colors. So, we applied a nice warm peachy cheek color directly to the apples of her cheeks. If we use something that was too pink, it would actually come out looking very funny. You can see the difference here how the warmer color matches her skin tone much better than that cooler pink color would. Also, for the eyes, you want to stay in that warm color. She's got beautiful warm golden eyes with a little hint of green in there. So, we're going to stick with colors that are going to enhance those carmely colors in her eyes; something in the warm family like this as oppose to something that might be too cool or too pink and that would be just be such a dramatic change that would, would look awkward on her. So, we're going to pick colors all in the warm family. We've already done one eye. I'm going to demonstrate what we did now on the other eye. Again, I started with a really warm, beautiful sunny color here and we're going to apply that all over the lid from lash to brow, give her that really pretty warm glow. And then, I'm going to take our contour brush and I'm going to apply darker shade, this pretty bronze that goes with her coloring, actually matches her eye color really well. And we're going to apply this in the contour or the crease of the eye to give her just a little of an almond eye shape here. That looks really pretty. And then, we're going to choose a nice warm brown cream eyeliner and this is a nice thick pencil, so you don't have to worry about going to straight 'cause you can smudge it out a little bit and get a nice even line. So, we're going to apply that all over the upper line lash line and extend it out just a bit. And then, I'm going to use my little eyeliner brush just to smudge it, give her a nice straight line here. "Hey, open up, let me see". Oh, that looks great. And we're going to do just a little bit on the lower and go right under here and then I want to take a little Q-tip and clean up; have a nice line there. And then for her lip color, again, in that pretty warm shade, I'm going to pick a pretty shade of peach, a nice lip gloss and we can also line in Danielle's lips. I would pick a nice warm brown or peach color. "Go ahead and press them together". And that's how you select makeup for warm skin tones.
