This is Dr. Brent Wright on how to identify a boy or a girl in pregnancy. Well, fortunately, today we have the ultrasound, which is very, very helpful in determining what the sex is. Although it's not perfect, you clearly have seen mistakes, even today, where they've had an ultrasound earlier and they thought they're going to have a boy, and they got everything all ready and it was a girl. And, so, that stuff happens and so, it's not perfect; but, ultrasound, we use that a lot. It's kind of funny but we look for what we call the golden arches in female, that's a little sign down there that can help us identify a girl. And for a boy, it's a little turtle on a rock. It makes a good anatomical sense, but, we can look down between the legs and see these identifiable factors and help us identify the sex. Of course, it's not perfect. Once again, there are mistakes made and it's not mistakes, but, perhaps, you know, may have a cord lying between the legs and you think you really have a, a, a boy and it's a, a girl and you can't, really can't see that picture very well. So once again, this is Dr. Brent Wright on how do you determine if you have a boy or girl in pregnancy.
