I'm Sarah, professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician, and I'm going to give you some tips on concealing puffy eyes. What you really want to do is take care of this puffiness so you need to look at your salt intake and see how much salt your taking in. Maybe you've had too much in the last couple days, so you want to start by flushing out with some water in your body. Also, it's a really good idea, before you do anything with concealer or makeup, to put some cold compresses on the eye or even using something like a cool rag that's nice and cold just to place right over the eye, leave it there for five minutes, will do a lot for puffy eyes. Also, cucumber slices, they've always worked and they always will work. If you want to put those on your eyes for 15 minutes before you do any makeup work, that's also a really good idea. Once you do that, the puffiness will come down and then become easier to conceal. So, when you are going to conceal puffy eyes though, you're going to need a concealer brush as well as some wet concealer. And the first thing that you want to do is be aware that you don't want to start with too much. You want to start with very thin layers and build because if you use too much, it's actually just going to draw attention to that puffiness. So you want to make sure that the rest of your face is nice and smooth and that you're treating the puffiness and it'll go away. But on top of it, you just want to dab a little bit around that area, even on top and on the sides and just start and just smooth it out. But the most important thing is is start treating those puffy eyes as soon as you can. So, that's how to conceal puffy eyes. For more tips, you can check out glowbysarah.com.
