Hi, I'm David Pakozdi, and I'm going to show you neck rolls for neck physical therapy. You won't need any materials for this. First, sitting tall in a chair, with your chin tucked, you're going to slowly raise your shoulders up, back, and down; all the up, all the way back, all the way down. Maintain your neck in a chin tuck position and slowly repeat 15 or 20 times. Just to loosen up the muscles of the shoulder, we'd like you to sit up straight up in the chair, keep your chin tucked, raise your shoulders up, back, and down slowly, with control, as far up as you can go, as far back as you can go. And you do that 10 or 20 times. Keep your chin tucked. A lot of people will let their head fall forward, you want to keep your neck in a neutral spine position. You don't want to let your head fall forward into a forward head posture. You want to keep it retracted. You don't want your arms to go, or shoulders to go forward. Keeping your shoulders up, back and down, don't let them move forward. And you want to keep an erect posture, nice tall posture. I'm David Pakozdi, and that's neck rolls for physical therapy.
