My name is Andrea, and this is Gaby, and she's going to help me demonstrate middle splits for gymnastics. The materials you will need are a floor, and a wide open space. When you're first learning your splits, you may not be able to go all the way down. That's okay, just practice everyday, it's important that you stretch everyday, and then you will be able to go down eventually. You just put one leg on either side, and press your hips forward, as far as you can. You want to make sure that your hips are not slightly turned either way. A lot of girls think they're doing the splits, but they're actually more at a right or a left leg splits. Make sure that both knees are pointing in the same direction. I'm Andrea, and this is Gaby, and we have just demonstrated middle splits.
