Alright, in the clip we are going to go over another essential piece of gear in an indoor gym. This is a chalk bag. This contains magnesium carbonate which is just gymnastic chalk. We like to keep it in a refillable chalk sock. That keeps the chalk in the air down to a minimum in the gym. The chalk keeps your hands dry, because when you climb your hands are going to sweat and literally slip off holds without chalk on them. In addition, your chalk bag will usually have a toothbrush in it. The toothbrush is not for your teeth. It's literally to scrub holds free of excess chalk and gunk left by other climbers. That allows you to grip the rock that much better.
