"Hi, my name is Christian from Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop in Austin, Texas and today I'm going to give you some answers on how to choose a mountain bike size or frame sizing, if you would. Basically the most important thing you're going to know or need to know is your inseam which and or your stand over height which would basically be this measurement. So when measuring stand over height, you're going to basically want to pick the most likely position for you to stand which basically be almost dead center, between the headset and the seat post. The stand over height on this particular bike is 29 1/2 inches. This bicycle would generally fit somebody in about the 5'6" range. This bicycle here is a 13 inch frame; it's going to fit somebody closer to a 5 foot, as far as their height or roughly a 28 inch in-seam. And then, then again this bicycle here is a 19 inch frame and this bicycle will fit somebody in a 5'10" to 6'1" range. As you can see there's numerous different frame sizes available. You can go to your local bike shop and fit expert can get you set up on the correct size bike."
