Hi, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you a gluten-free cookies recipe. This recipe is for gluten-free sugar cookies. First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. The ingredients are one half cup of butter, three fourths cups of sugar, one egg, one teaspoon vanilla, one and one half cup gluten free all purpose flour. One fourth teaspoon Xanthan gum, one half teaspoon baking soda, one half teaspoon of salt and one half teaspoon of cream of tartar. We'll start by creaming the butter and sugar together. Now we'll add the egg and the vanilla and mix together. Mix all of your dry ingredients together first and then add to your batter. Now comes the easy part, take a spoon full of batter and roll it into a ball. Place it on your un-greased cookie sheet. After you have your cookie sheet full, you take a glass and you dip the bottom of the glass in sugar. You press down on each ball of dough to make a round flat cookie. Place your cookies in a preheated, 350 degree oven and bake for ten to twelve minutes. And that is a gluten-free cookie recipe.
