"Hi! I'm Kelly Karnetsky, website designer of Springs Hosting. Today I'm going to talk to you about video web hosting. So there's a lot of different options in a video hosting. You can do it yourself but today we're going to show you how to do it free. And all you need is an Internet connection and your favorite browser. Go to youtube.com. Youtube.com allows you to upload any video as long as it doesn't violate their terms of use and you can easily embed it or share a link on any website or email to your friends. So step one, we need to create an account on YouTube. If you already have an account then we need to log in. So we're going to go ahead and click on Sign In. Just a little heads up, it's important to know that whenever you export your video and whatever video editor you're using, you want to export in the highest quality. Because when you export in the highest quality then YouTube can then play it back in the highest quality. So if you have an HD video, you want to make sure you export it into an HD video format so that it can play back on the website in HD. If you don't then it won't play back in HD. So step two, we want to upload the video. So click on Upload and then click Upload Video, and select the video that you want to upload. Now also in uploading when you go ahead and give it a title, a description, tags, and a category. So I'm going to go ahead and title this, give a little description. Then I'm going to tag it and then select the category, and I'm going to say Save Changes. So what YouTube is doing while it's uploading and then after it's uploading, first it uploads the video. After it has a video then it needs to convert it over into a flash video format, or an FOV. Now this FOV is important because it is what use, what is being used to play on YouTube's flash player. And FOV is one of the smallest streaming flash files available and still high quality. So that's why they do that. So now YouTube is finished processing the video. So you click on the video and we can watch it, and make sure that it plays. Now since I'm logged in, you see a little bit of extra features on my video like I can add annotations to my video. I'm not going to do that, I'm just making sure that it plays. Step three, we can either embed it on our own website or just give somebody the link to the video on YouTube's website. Now if you give somebody to YouTube's video, we can also give them the link to our YouTube profile. With your YouTube profile you can kind of customize it to make it your own personal thing. But what we're going to do is embed it onto our own website. So we need to copy the embed code off of YouTube's website. So right underneath the description you'll see the embed code so we're going to go ahead and click that, and we're going to go ahead and copy that. So now that we have it copied, we want to go ahead and go to our website. So I'm going to my website as an example. So I had to log in to my website, the back end. Now that I'm logged in, I can go ahead and create a test post. So I'm going to name this, Falcon On My Window. And I want to go ahead and do HTML since I've got the HTML code. I'm just going to ahead and paste that in there and I'll go back to Visual. And I can see that my video box is right there. So I'm just going to go ahead and publish my, my post. And then I'm going to visit my website and click on my blog, and then I can see the video right here embedded into my website. So it's as simple as that. Thanks for watching. I'm Kelly Karnetsky, website designer of SpringsHosting.com, you just learned about video web hosting."
