"Hi I'm Chris Murray a professional soccer player of the Wilmington Hammerheads and I'm going to give you some tips on how to clean your soccer cleats. The materials you need for cleaning your soccer cleats are: a brush or a cloth, some water and your soccer cleats. In soccer, there is many different types of cleats that you can buy, cleats in all different shapes, sizes, colors and brands. Soccer cleats are usually made out of some kind of leather. While cleaning leather, it is very important to know that the leather can be very delicate at times. When soccer cleats are wet, they're usually at their softest. By cleaning wet soccer cleats, you should usually just take a cloth or brush to them and brush off the dirt and the grass that gets attached to them. Another way for cleaning your soccer cleats after a muddy day is by wearing them in the shower. Wearing your soccer cleats in the shower really gets them nice and wet so they mold to your foot and it also gets all the dirt and grass and grime that's off when it is collected from the soccer field. Another step for cleaning your soccer cleats is simply by banging them together to get the dirt out of the spikes on the bottom. The spikes on the bottom attract dirt and there is usually a buildup when you're done playing soccer. By banging out this dirt can really keep your cleats lasting longer and make them stay in the best condition as possible and those are some tips on how to clean your soccer cleats."
