"Hi, I'm Elizabeth Muller, and I'm a professional hairstylist with LizsHairDesign.com. In this clip I'm going to show you how to do a half up and half down hairstyle. You'll need a comb, you'll need some hairspray, you need a scrunchy. The first step would be is to make sure you get nice body in to the hair. I like a nice body with the half down, half up. But we would take the hair, comb it back, divide it by the ear because that is half of your head there. And you would do the same on the other side. Get a good section there, make sure that half of it's down. Make it nice and clean so it doesn't look funny when you put the scrunchy in or the rubber band. Okay, so you want to go ahead and do that, take it and comb this nice and neatly. Make it neat, make sure it's nice and smooth, okay. And then you would place your scrunchy there. Okay, so you place your scrunchy there and make sure that it's nice and even as half up half down. Smooth the edges with some hairspray so it doesn't get frizzy looking and you comb it back nice and easy and this is how you do a half up half down hairstyle. This is Elizabeth Muller, thank you for watching."
