"I'm Alexis Neubert of Alexis Design and this is how to change the resolution of your digital photo. You want to start by opening your photo in Photoshop. Here we have a photo open and simply you'll go to the image menu at the top, choose image size and this is where your resolution information is. Now the important thing to keep in mind is that you can't actually add resolution to something. You can type in a higher resolution. In this case we have a 180. We could make it 300 let's say because we want to improve it and it will change it but it really just re-samples the pixels and sometimes can make a fuzzier image depending on what type of image or how much resolution you want it to gain. So in order to change the actual resolution what you want to do in image size box is uncheck this box called re-sample image and what that does is it changes the resolution in relation to the actual size in inches so if I were to type in 300 here it would shrink the actual image size of my photo and make it a smaller size but a higher resolution and that's the real way to change resolution and to gain actual resolution and that's how you change the resolution of your digital photo."
