"Hi my name is Lisa and I'm a hairstylist in Wilmington, North Carolina and I'm going to talk to you about how to clean hair trimmers. You want to take a Phillips head screwdriver and start loosening these screws that are holding this metal guard in place being sure you keep track of where they are and where they go and in this case I take the top plate off and I put it to the side and then I take the actual blade and I put that down next to that and then in this case I am taking a little brush, you could use compressed air or your blow dryer and just get as much of that hair as you can out and then I'm going to spray a little spray disinfectant on my clipper, the inside and then clean this little guy. There is different kinds of solvents that you can use if you decide to do something like that and at this point you can replace this blade and then sort of put everything back the way you found it and then I use clipper oil and then tighten the whole thing up again and you're back in business and that is how you clean clippers."
