"Hi my name is Chad Boone, I'm with Mantis Airsoft located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I've been involved in airsoft for two and half years as a player. I am an airsoft tech, which means I work on guns, upgrade guns, fix guns. I've been doing that for about two years professionally. I also designed operations, and run those around the southeastern area. I want to talk to you about how to become an airsoft sniper. The first thing you are going to need to do to be a sniper is to have a good long range weapon such as this or a bolt action. Something that you can really reach out, and touch people with. With a good scope on that weapon. Some of the other items you are going to want to be a sniper is good camouflage wearing gilley suits something that is going to keep you hidden so that the enemy is not going to see you. Because you are going to be sitting often times by yourself or with a spotter, and isolated. So you are going to want to definitely keep out of sight. You are also going to want to keep your weapon kind of quiet. On this one I have this silencer here, which means I can get up on a hill, shoot at people, I am not going to give away my position, because more than likely they are not going to hear me shooting at them. You also want to have a good radio. A sniper often times is going to have a higher view than the guys he is working with, and he can actually call in other troop movements to the guys below, and let them know what they are walking into. So you want a radio, good camouflage, good sniper rifle, and tactics. And tactics just come with experience, and getting out on the field and playing, and figuring out what works for you."
