Hi I am Cyvia Lewis, and we are working on a smokey eye with Brooke Burke here for Modern Mom. And what I have here is I want to show the difference in the, close your lids. Rhe top lid is finished. It has got black at the base so the darkest part is at the base of the lash line going upward it kind of blends out. Our smokey eye is just tighter, tighter, tighter around the eye, and then blends out as you go. So, we are not looking at a really harsh line, and this eye has not been blended completely so you can see that the difference there. This eye actually looks softer even though there is an awful lot of makeup on it, because of the blending. For sure, for sure. And I am using just a really, really tiny brush to kind of blend everything together. And not necessarily a daytime look, but a great sexy evening. For sure. It is actually one of my favorite styles of makeup. I think it actually extends the eye. I think it is a really sexy look. And I just lightly going over everything that was placed on blending upward. So how important are the brushes that you are using? Well the brushes, the brushes are very important, because they do different things that you would want. If you want to place quite a bit of color you would use a short little hard brush. And this one I use just to place color first to get the ones to blend. So the most important thing we need to remember for the smokey eye is go ahead, and just line, line, line with the darkest color, and you are going to blend everything upward. The key is to blend everything so it doesn't look like there is a start or a finish. Alright.
