Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Gather items you’ll need for this craft project.

  2. Step 2

Measure 1” from bottom of canister and mark. Cut along the marked line. Clean the inside thoroughly and remove all leftover chip crumbs.

  3. Step 3

Measure and mark 1” or 1.5” from top edge, depends on your preference. Cut along the marked line. Clean thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

Apply double-sided adhesive tape to join the two newly cut sections on the outside. Leave the backing on the adhesive tape for now till you are ready to glue your decorative paper on the container.

  5. Step 5

Measure and cut a rectangular piece (2” x 10.5”) from your decorative paper.

  6. Step 6

Apply glue or additional adhesive tape to the side of your new container and then glue the decorative paper all around.

  7. Step 7

If you are using a thick magnet sheet, trace and cut a circle slightly smaller than the circumference of the container bottom. Alternatively, glue one or two strong button magnets.
