"Hi, this is Nathan Morgan with Parts-People.com, in this video I'm going to show you how to clean your laptop fan. This is something that needs to be done on a regular basis, monthly. Just preventative maintenance to make sure that our laptop stays as cool as possible. Let's just locate the CPU cooling vents, these are located on the bottom of the laptop and usually on the back. In this particular model, you have an inlet on the side and the bottom, and the outlet's on the back. All you do is, you take you can of air, you blow it in, blow it in the side and blow it in the back. This is the location generally where the heat sink of the fan are located. You have two inlets for the airflow, you have the side one and the bottom. Air comes in through here and blows out the back, it blows through the fin, the cooling fins to cool the CPU processor. Over time, dust bunnies will collect on to the heat sink fins. If it's been a long time since the last time you cleaned your laptop, you may need to do a full cleanup because dust bunnies do like to collect on to the heat sink. I hope this has helped you, this is Nathan Morgan with Parts-People.com"
