Hi my name is Lisa. I'm a hairstylist in Wilmington, North Carolina and I'm going to show you how to do a female rockabilly hairstyle. So our model has long, a long front so I'm going to do a little fake bang, kind of like a Bettie Page bang. We're going to just pull it up a little. We did a little back combing at the base of the scalp there and we're going to sort of just roll using our fingers towards her face and we're going to create a little, a little fake bang. In the 50's people did things with their hair that people don't do in modern times so the hairstyles look and feel a lot different now. Now with the sides we're just going to kind of twist it up and hold it in place with some pins. In this style we're going to use a ponytail for the back and we're just going to put the rest of the hair in a ponytail and clip up any loose hairs that fall down the back of the neck here and that's our female rockabilly hairstyle.
